It is with great pleasure that the Kherson Community Foundation "Zakhyst" would like to inform you about the results of our work in June aimed at providing assistance to overcome the consequences of flooding in Kherson caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. The total amount of assistance provided is UAH 2,525,930.2.

Support for medical and social institutions from Podil community
Supporting medical and social institutions, as well as strengthening their material and technical base, are currently among the key areas of work of the Podilska Hromada Community Foundation. To this end, they constantly provide them with equipment, beds, tools, medicines, and sometimes food and hygiene products, as such assistance is also needed.

Charity event "A piece of watermelon to help the crisis zone".
The charity event "Ein Stück Wassermelone - Hilfe für die Krisenzone" lasted only two hours in the ancient Trier, Germany, during which volunteers told the truth about the undermining of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant by Russian troops and its catastrophic consequences, decorated children's faces with watermelon face paint and collected 631 euros to help flooded Kherson.

Helping hospitals means helping yourself
Our fundraiser Victoria Zablotska faced a problem. To have an X-ray of her injured leg, she went several times to the room with an old X-ray machine in Sosnivska hospital in Lviv region. At the same time, there was a new machine on the ground floor, but it was not working.

Nikopol, Kherson, and Vinnytsia are the first three cities to receive equipment from Grundfos A/S (Denmark) to help restore critical water supply and sewage infrastructure as soon as possible. This is a new large-scale project implemented at the request of water supply organizations in Ukraine. In order to strengthen the material and technical base of Ukrainian water supply organizations, Grundfos has donated a substantial batch of equipment, namely 671 pumps and components worth more than 50 thousand euros free of charge.
