How the School of Spatial Orientation and Mobility helps ?
Before that, she had never gone out on her own. Now she is confident in public transportation, navigates traffic lights, underpasses, and even does her own shopping. The school has given her an impetus to move forward and develop her orientation skills. Her dream is to walk the streets of her hometown with her own grandchildren, not so that they have to walk with their grandmother. And we are convinced that Inessa's perseverance and strength of spirit will help to fulfill this wish.

The Voznesensk Community Foundation has created a project aimed at supporting the development of non-formal education and creating new professional opportunities for women.

12 teams from different communities in the Cherkasy region had the opportunity to improve their project management, communication, and fundraising skills.
Each group developed a framework for the fundraising campaign and the project as a whole. They worked on a variety of ideas ranging from creating social spaces, landscaping parks and coastal areas, to developing sports initiatives, art therapy studios, and social entrepreneurship.

How to preserve the donor culture?
Donation has become something commonplace for Ukrainians. But how do we keep this phenomenon alive after the victory? Let's talk about the culture of giving.Instead of coffee, a donation, instead of payment, a donation, instead of a gift, a donation.Everyone in Ukraine today donates, and the survival of our country depends on it.The culture of donations is a requirement of the times. During the full-scale invasion, the percentage of people making donations increased from 56% in 2021 to 65% in 2022, and the average donation increased 9 times (according to a study by the Zagoriy Foundation). People have begun to take a more systematic approach to working with charitable and public organizations, to contribute resources to cooperation, which has led to an increase in the index of trust in the NGO sector.But will we be able to turn this into a systemic habit after the victory?

"Donors are real people. We are also tired of bureaucracy"
"How do you introduce other organizations to 'your' donors?" we were asked during the "Meeting for Change" that we organized so that Ukrainian NGOs could meet representatives of international NGOs that implement humanitarian and social projects in cooperation with local organizations. The question surprised us, because we are sure that there are enough partners for everyone. It is important for us that the cooperation is equal, because it directly affects the effectiveness of the aid. Currently, Ukrainian local organizations often act as implementing partners, and their opinions, experience and local resources are not taken into account when planning humanitarian response programs, which leads to inefficiency.

During the event, participants had the opportunity to attend panel discussions on the power of networking and equal partnerships.
