The charity Alight provided grant support to the project in the amount of 7,369 USD. Alight — a charity organization providing humanitarian assistance across the world.
The project will be implemented in order to provide IDPs and persons with disabilities living in the Voznesensk community with quality housing. POG "Voznesensk Educational and Production Enterprise of the Ukrainian Society of the Blind" is ready to provide its own dormitory for the resettlement of IDPs. The dormitory has 14 rooms in which IDPs can be accommodated, 5 of which are fully equipped, but another 9 need additional equipment. As a result of providing the dormitory with the necessary materials, 75 people or 15 families will be able to live there.
The goal of the project is to provide 40+ overstayers with good living conditions on a permanent basis, purchase the necessary equipment and equip the rooms. In case of a quick end to the full-scale invasion, de-occupation and reconstruction of the territories, the purchased equipment will be transferred to the local hospital or other institutions, according to their needs, which will be determined in consultation with the local self-government bodies.
