"First of all, in any field we work with people, and this is worth remembering"
- Zhanna Solovyova, Head of the Board of Zhytomyr Community Foundation.
"For the second time, Meeting for Change brought together people who are ready to work and develop our country together.
This time we were looking for common ground between local authorities, the public sector and business.
During the panel discussions, we discussed the challenges faced by representatives of these sectors in their interaction, as well as how they can be solved. The panelists shared their ideas on how to formalize partnerships between business, the public sector, and local government.
We share important thoughts from the meeting:
"In order for there to be sustainable interaction between businesses and the public sector, mutual understanding and trust are needed, so that the systems understand who does what and who has what responsibility."
Yvette Delikatna, Partner at ECOMM Communication Consulting, Advisor to the Minister of Information Policy in 2015-2017.
"When a partner communicates with you, it is important for you to also explore what is valuable to that organization or person. This will help you build better and more effective cooperation right away, because you offer your partner something that will definitely resonate with them."
Yulia Kokoyachuk, Head of the Department for Supporting the Activities of the Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine.
"For me, a good partnership means trust in an organization, a business representative, or a civil society organization. Openness - sometimes this is really lacking, we all work hard, but sometimes we need to be more human, a person for people."
Olga Lekova, representative of the social enterprise Recast Plastic
We strive to create new and effective partnerships in the future, so follow our pages to be the first to know about such events!
