From 2021, the "National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy" will implement the project "Youth Bank Movement of Ukraine - promoting the culture of philanthropy and involving young people in civil society".

Despite all the challenges throughout 2022, the Youth Banks of Initiatives continued their operation and received all the necessary support from the "National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy".

During 2022, youth teams were able to:

Participate in a number of training sessions on the topics of emotional burnout, features of working with humanitarian projects, assessment of the humanitarian needs of the community and IDPs (August-November 2022);

Take part in an offline conference on project management of charity events (October 2022);

To form youth projects aimed at solving the problems of their community (October-December 2022);

Organize charity events in 7 communities to collect funds for gifts for IDP children (November 2022);

Take part in the small grants competition (December 2022);

Implement 12 youth initiatives in their communities (December 2022 - February 2023);

At the beginning of 2023, the Youth Banks of Initiatives conducted strategic planning, during which one of the main directions for this year was determined - the implementation of humanitarian projects and the acquisition of all necessary skills for the further reconstruction of the country by young people.

PARTICIPATING COMMUNITIES

A decisive role is played by the coordinator, as he is the mentor of the team engaged in their training and organization of work. Therefore, the "National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy" is expanding the network of Youth Banks of Initiatives, therefore, on March 10-12 inA conference was held in Truskavets in which both current and new coordinators took part. Due to this, the activities of MBI covered new regions, such as: Svitlovodsk, Ivano-Frankivsk, Kurovychi. At the conference, the coordinators had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the MBI model, the main functions of the coordinators, further plans and the development of project applications.

As part of the 2023 project, 10 youth initiative banks (YIBs) from 9 different communities implement socially important initiatives to solve problems in their communities:

Voznesensk community (Voznesensk community foundation, Voznesensk, Mykolaiv region)

Stryi community ("Ridnia" community foundation, Stryi city, Lviv region)

Bar community ("Bari" community foundation, Bar city, Vinnytsia region)

Novoyavorivsk community (GO "Hostinets", Novoyavorivsk, Lviv region)

Vinnytsia Community (Podilska Community Foundation, Vinnytsia)

Ivano-Frankivsk community (TIZMINY NGO, Ivano-Frankivsk)

Svitlovodsk community ("GO Needed Here", Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad Region)

Hrytsiv community (Hrytsiv community foundation, Hrytsiv city, Khmelnytskyi region)

Glynyansk community (BF Caritas Glynyany, Glynyany village, Lviv region)

Glynyan community (Silsky Gospodr NGO, Sloviti village, Lviv Region)
