Some history and plans for the future from the head of the Community Development Fund Stanislav Chernogor:
I was active as a child. He participated in various clubs, sections, amateur performances. But the real impetus for public activity was the city online forum Kramatorsk.info. It was around 2005. There were a lot of interesting smart strangers on the forum. I liked how boldly they write, argue, want to change something for the better in their hometown. But over time, it became noticeable how words remain words, and little changes. And I started looking for information - how a public organization can affect the life of the city. I studied what other organizations do, looked for ideas on how to do what I imagined ideally. In 2010, I organized the first event - a large-scale celebration of Motorist's Day. We made such a holiday together with Horlivka Driving School. It was a race of motorists right in the central square of the city. They changed spare parts, drove into the garage, drove with a glass of water on the roof. The following year, the holiday was repeated with the Kramatorsk driving school DOSAAF. After that, together with Oleksandr Oliynyk, they registered a public organization. Wrote an application for a Street University. Interesting people held master classes and gave lectures for Kramators. It turned out to be much more significant than planned. Street University became an event in Kramatorsk. 10 years have passed, and people remember it with gratitude. This University in the central library of the city became a platform on which active people with interesting ideas began to come. There was a board game club, a psychological club, and the Faino talk club, a speaker club. That's how it all started. How has my life changed since then? Now I can do what I like. Choose what I am interested in doing. I began to see fewer people I don't want to see. I choose who to communicate with and work with. In 10 years I see how our organization works internationally. We are capable and have sufficient experience for humanitarian work abroad. I also see a developed highly profitable social business that solves social issues of the community with great benefit. We conduct useful trainings. Young people are actively involved in public activities, and at least 80 people work in our public organization on a permanent basis.
