In connection with the full-scale invasion of Russia in 2022, Ukrainians have many problems in all spheres of life. Since one of the best practices of humanitarian aid is direct financial aid, we decided that this would be the best and most convenient solution to help Ukrainian families in need. In this way, network participants (in particular, Kherson Community Foundation "Zakhsyt"), as well as the network itself, have developed a program of direct financial support.

Solution

Any family can submit an application describing their situation. The manager of the project checks the family for compliance with the categories and conditions for receiving aid and selects families for payments. So the family can purchase the necessary assistance that cannot be obtained through humanitarian initiatives: specialized medicines, food or hygiene products, etc. For families under occupation, this is the only opportunity to get any help.

Long-Term Impact

The project will help 1,500 families with children who suffered from the Russian invaders in Ukraine. It will help families to feed or treat their children, buy medicine or clothes, pay rent if their own is destroyed.
