The social project "You can save lives" has started in Vinnytsia. Within the framework of the project it is planned to conduct trainings on home care for different groups of the population, including:
- employees of secondary schools;
- employees of preschool educational institutions;
- the team of the NGO "Harmony";
- employees of the Vinnytsia Regional Clinical Chornobyl Dispensary;
- employees and deputy of the Vinnytsia Regional Council;
- open group.
The first training for the NGO "Harmony" took place within the project. During the training on home care the team:
- detected an unconscious person and correctly called the EMD team;
- practiced the skills of pressing the chest and conducting artificial ventilation;
- used an automatic external defibrillator;
- moved the person to a stable lateral position;
- learned how to help a person who has choked;
- discussed the specifics of providing assistance to people with seizures, heart attacks, strokes;
- Recognized massive bleeding and how to stop it.
The project "You can save lives" is implemented by the NGO "Harmony" together with the NGO "Emergency Medical Agency" with the support of the Community Foundation "Podilska Hromada" and Vinnytsia Regional Center for Emergency Care and Disaster Medicine under the British Council Ukraine "Active Citizens" »In order to develop indifference and a conscious attitude to the value of life through the training of home care, which will help meet global and national goals of the Global Sustainable Development Goals (Goal 3" Good Health ", Goal 17" Partnership for Sustainable Development ").
