The Ridnia Community Foundation has a new baby, the Boryslav Youth Initiative Bank.
It was born out of a youth initiative group that, with the help of Ridnia, implemented a project to help soldiers being treated at the Truskavets hospital.
The Bank was headed by schoolgirl Ivanka Sokhan, who took over the reins from Nazar Kuzan, who had already become a student in Kyiv. The group united forty young Boryslav residents, from schoolchildren to college and university students, with a common idea. Their youth initiatives became noticeable even in Kyiv, so a donor from the capital donated grants to hold a project competition among Boryslav schoolchildren.
So the Boryslav Youth Bank of Initiatives now announces the competition itself and selects the projects it considers the most successful. This is exactly how the Ridnia Community Foundation works, with the mentorship of which young Boryslav residents learn to work effectively.
In early July, a group of representatives from the Boryslav Youth Initiatives Bank took a training course in Ternopil. After returning with new knowledge, they held a meeting to identify seven areas for project implementation.
