Vinnytsia Regional Medical Center for Rehabilitation of Children received medical and rehabilitation equipment. To get it, the Community Foundation "Podilska hromada" together with the Institute of Urban Development "knocked" on different doors. The initiative was supported by Vinnytsia's sister city in Lithuania, Panevezys, which "knocked" its sister city in Japan. They, in turn, found partners from the town of Toyohashi, who agreed to provide the Vinnytsia institution with equipment.
Thus, through several "handshakes", the medical center of Vinnytsia received a special treadmill for cardio exercises and a modern myostimulator. The institution specializes in children's neurology, orthopedics-traumatology and now actively provides services to children who moved to Vinnytsia from other regions.
