Family doctors of the KP "KNP Voznesensky City Center of Primary Medical and Sanitary Care" are undergoing advanced training at the Odesa National Medical University at the department of physical rehabilitation, sports medicine, physical education and valeology. After training, doctors will be able to help a person restore impaired or lost physical skills and adapt to new living conditions after treatment.
Also, family doctors will pay more attention to the patient's family members, because they are also their patients. This will be especially necessary if there is a seriously ill person in the family, and caring for him significantly reduces the quality of life of the family, contributing to the development of diseases.
Today, a modern rehabilitation system is being created in Ukraine, based on the best world practices and evidence-based approaches, multidisciplinarity and, most importantly, patient-centeredness. According to the latest requirements for the competencies of primary care medical workers, they must have knowledge of rehabilitation.
