Over the course of 3 months, the "Berezani Community Foundation" in cooperation with other local foundations implemented the joint project "Phoenix of Rudnytskyi".
Baryshiv Territorial Community was partially occupied from 02/28/2022 to 04/03/2022 and active military operations were conducted on its territory. In the village More than 60 private sector buildings and infrastructure facilities were destroyed in Rudnitske, which is part of the Baryshiv territorial community. The issue of accommodation for socially vulnerable families has become acute.
Builders restored houses for local residents of the village. Rudnitske. Initially, it was planned to restore 8 houses. It was possible to cover the roofs of the houses damaged by the explosions, insert windows and doors, putty the walls cut by bullets or shrapnel.
However, contractors and suppliers of building materials provided goods and services at cost, helping to rebuild 11 houses that were damaged during the occupation. The project is an extremely successful example of business and community partnership in the field of charity to help people who survived the occupation. And we are not talking about material things, but, first of all, the moral component, which allows Ukrainians to feel that they have not been left alone with their troubles.
