More than half a ton of humanitarian aid to 50 families of internally displaced persons was distributed by the Zhytomyr Community Fund today in the village of Khoroshiv.
The team brought food and hygiene kits in two vehicles to support people who now live in the Khoroshiv community (Khoroshiv United Territorial Community).
The staff of the Social Protection Department of the Khoroshiv Village Council, headed by Olga Kucher, helped us organize this meeting.
Natalia and Ihor, along with other concerned community members in Washington, D.C., have collected and sent more than 15 tons of humanitarian aid for IDPs since the beginning of the full-scale war. Thanks to this help, the Zhytomyr Community Foundation is able to distribute clothing, shoes, hygiene products and other items to those in need.
