The Podilska community welcomed a delegation from the de-occupied Balakliyska community in Vinnytsia.
The purpose of the visit was to adopt proven community development tools and implement them on their territory.
Therefore, over the next few days, they have a lot of useful things to do together:
- Yesterday, we already held meetings with representatives of the city's public organizations: Educational Space 2.0, Podillya-Society Center, Innovative ACTION, and Vinnytsia Volunteer Center.
AHEAD:
- Familiarization with successful practices of partnership between Vinnytsia authorities, business and community,
- Visits to youth spaces, the tourism office, and teen club centers,
- Training and information sessions on project management, community profile, and building effective partnerships.
After Vinnytsia, representatives of Balakliya will have the opportunity to visit Kielce and learn about best practices in various areas of community functioning.
In turn, this will allow them to jointly formulate a concept for a HAB or Center for the Balakliya community, based on the needs of the de-occupied community.
