The process of installing innovative drinking fountains in Ivano-Frankivsk has reached the finish line!
The “Warm City” platform received a document called “Technical conditions for connection to drinking water supply systems”, thus the penultimate and very difficult stage of the project has been completed.
COVID-19 became a serious threat to the project. We had to check whether the drinking fountains posed an additional risk of infection. It was not so easy to get an answer, as the state authorities referred to the legislation, and it was not changed in the conditions of the epidemic. We were even ready to stop the project if we did not get a clear answer. However, fountains are no more dangerous than any other public object. And in our model, developed by MetaLab, you don't even have to touch anything with your hands. So, the fountains are. - the organizers report.
Currently, the process of making two fountains is underway: one larger - for adults, and smaller - it is convenient for people in wheelchairs and children. The body will be made of concrete - so the fountains are almost impossible to damage.
A unique development is being created that will be embodied in the Ivano-Frankivsk structure of the city. A step-by-step system will be added to it, according to which everyone will be able to realize a fountain on their own or in the general territory of the city.

The only process ahead that does not allow to clearly name the date of opening of the fountains - the approval of technical conditions. Fundraising continues because the project turned out to be more expensive than initially expected.
