Kharkiv will receive help from the sister city

Today, the whole world has united to help Ukraine resist Russia's military aggression. An important and valuable component of this support is the help of partner and sister cities. Kharkiv and Nuremberg have many years of close relations and active cooperation. And with the beginning of the military aggression, the citizens of the sister city provide real fraternal support to the people of Kharkiv. The Kharkiv Community Fund "Toloka" became a link in the chain connecting Kharkiv with Nuremberg.

The Foundation in partnership with the Kharkiv-Nuremberg Fraternal Union have developed a humanitarian project, within the framework of which targeted support will be provided to several city medical institutions, it is about the purchase of medical equipment and medicines. In addition, an important component of the project is the support of culture and the preservation of cultural heritage, in particular, assistance will be provided to the National Literary and Memorial Museum of Grigory Skovoroda and the Kharkiv Art Museum.

Acquaintance and partnership with like-minded people from Nuremberg took place thanks to the chairman of the Foundation's Supervisory Board, Sergey Polituchiy, who was in Kharkiv from the beginning of the war and provided assistance to both the military and the city's residents. In April, he had several business meetings with representatives of German charitable organizations. Thanks to his authority, in particular, the Kharkiv-Nuremberg Fraternal Union supported the Foundation's initiative. The organization is grateful to the German partners for their trust, and has undertaken to cover the course of providing targeted assistance, to talk about all the support projects that it implements thanks to this partnership.
