The National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy and ShelterBox created the Winterization project.
The goal of the project is to provide basic things for a comfortable life for people. As part of this project, we and the Community Foundations distributed warm sleeping bags, blankets, solar lanterns, beanies, warm winter sets (hat, scarf, gloves) and water canisters in case of unforeseen circumstances.
Work on the project began back in November, since then we have been actively communicating with the Shelter Box donor, who provided us with funding and the necessary items from Turkey. The project is already coming to an end and was successfully implemented in eleven communities, during three weeks volunteers distributed food to people in need.
