On September 25, a Friendly football tournament between Zhytomyr medical institutions took place in Zhytomyr.
The event was held to raise funds for the rehabilitation of surgeon Oleg Shubin, who was wounded in the war while performing a task at the end of August 2022. In total, it was possible to collect more than UAH 27,000.
The teams of medical institutions took part in the tournament:
- Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital Gerbachevskyi;
- Zhytomyr City Clinical Hospital №1;
- Zhytomyr City Clinical Hospital V.P. Pavlusenko №2;
- Zhytomyr regional oncology dispensary;
- Zhytomyr Regional Children's Hospital;
- Zhytomyr District Hospital;
- Medibor private clinic.
Organizers of the tournament: Zhytomyr Community Foundation, Zhytomyr Regional Clinical Hospital Gerbachevskyi and Department of Family, Youth and Sports Affairs of Zhytomyr City Council.
