The Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Kharkiv City Administration received a LEICA BLK360 3D scanner

As part of the humanitarian joint project of the Kharkiv "Toloka" Community Foundation and the Kharkiv-Nürnberg Partnership Partnershipsverein Charkiw-Nürnberg, the Department of Urban Planning and Architecture of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration received a LEIKA BLK360 3D scanner.

The scanner will help specialists obtain and save important data about cultural buildings, their exact dimensions, texture.

The device provides an opportunity to study objects from a distance, without the need to enter damaged premises, as this can be dangerous. Thanks to laser scanning, digital copies of buildings will exist for many years, even if their real counterparts are destroyed or damaged, and for architects they will become an important basis for restoration.
