Mykola Ivanovych, an 85-year-old resident of Sumy, donated $35,000 to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

This summer, the man's wife died, and earlier he also lost his son. In order to help Ukraine defeat the occupier, an 85-year-old man decided to sell an apartment and a plot of land, and give the money to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The pensioner asked his niece to find a volunteer fund that collects funds for the needs of Ukrainian defenders. That is how he came to the Sumy Public Fund.

The fund said that this money will be used for a separate targeted purchase for the Armed Forces. Consultations are currently being held with the military.

It is known that the man worked for 46 years at the plant named after Frunze. According to him, his pension is enough to live on today.
