
The competition assumes that, according to the model of Youth Banks of Initiatives:
1. The MBI committee, headed by the coordinator, must independently open a competition for projects at the local level after receiving a grant from the National Organization for the Development of Local Philanthropy;
2. The MBI committee must independently choose a project that will best meet the given topic.
3. The MBI committee must provide the necessary amount of funds for the implementation of the selected project, before signing the contract with the winner, and during the implementation, carry out regular monitoring.
The final person responsible for the implementation of the grant is the authorized coordinator of the Youth Bank of Initiatives.
The following are invited to the competition:
Unregistered groups, informal youth associations and unofficial public initiatives that work according to the model of Youth Banks of Initiatives. These are teams consisting of at least 5 people who coordinate their activities together with an adult Coordinator.
Public and charitable organizations that:
are in a state of liquidation;
have a legal relationship with and/or provide resources and support to individuals and organizations associated with terrorism;
made any efforts or took actions to influence the members of the competition commission or the organizer, administrator of the competition in order to make an illegal decision in their favor;
did not provide reporting on the results of implementation of past projects that were supported by the "National Network for the Development of Local Philanthropy";
if gross violations of activity or functioning are detected in the work of the Youth Banks of Initiatives.Priority areas of the Competition:
Work with IDP youth - holding joint events for the social adaptation of youth in new communities;
Solving socially significant problems - humanitarian, adaptive (spreading the community's internal culture to forcibly displaced persons), environmental, etc.;
Support of youth initiatives - readiness to support any ideas of the youth that will be aimed at the benefit of the community, the acquisition of the necessary skills by the youth of the community for the reconstruction of the country.
Activities that can be supported within this Competition:
Organization of public events (public hearings, public discussions, cultural events, meetings at the place of residence, round tables, trainings, conferences, etc.);
Grant support for local initiatives;

The size of the grant.
The requested amount of the grant, which the team can apply for, cannot be more than UAH 16,000.
The applicant's own contribution is mandatory and cannot be less than UAH 5,000.
Procedure for submitting project proposals.
An informal youth group/organization that meets the requirements for applicants and works in the target areas must submit a completed project proposal of the prescribed format to participate in the competition.
The project proposal is filled out in Ukrainian.To get access to the electronic application form, the applicant must register and create an electronic account on the organization's website
Draft applications will be considered by the Competition Commission once every two weeks until May 12, 2023 (inclusive)
Project proposals sent in paper form: by mail, fax, courier, or in any other way, except by e-mail to the specified address with an indication of the appropriate subject of the letter, will not be accepted for consideration.
Materials submitted to the competition are not returned or reviewed.
Funding within the framework of the competition.
Funds provided within the framework of the Competition are transferred in order of intended use and cannot be used:
to carry out activities that are not related to the project submitted for competition;
to cover debts and/or fines of the organization and related fees and court costs;
to pay for personal treatment, education or scholarship for education, recreation;
for publishing personal publications and holding personal exhibitions;
for contributions, donations, gifts to private individuals or organizations;
to cover advertising and public relations expenses related exclusively to the promotion of the organization;
for the purchase of goods or services for personal use by employees of the organization;
for contributions to a reserve or similar fund and/or endowment;
for events whose beneficiaries are political, religious or military structures, as well as representatives of government bodies;
to provide any resources or any other support to individuals and/or legal entities associated with terrorist activities.Expenses incurred by grantees before or after receiving the grant
