Free Thread - sewing and embroidery workshops. We give women work and make embroidered shirts with a story. The idea for the social business was suggested by a resident of the shelter, whose family had suffered from domestic violence for generations. She suggested embroidering an amulet shirt to break the cycle of violence. The women have the opportunity to work at their own convenience or start a business, and clients who miss their homes receive a shirt of strength.
The new workshop in Vyshhorod has equipment, trained craftswomen, 2 female mentors, and has launched production. Over the course of the year, the team trained 8 women and donated over UAH 60 thousand to social projects. We already have 200 happy customers wearing the shirts, including abroad.
