During the month, the Sumy Community Fund managed to collect 911,000 hryvnias, and also attracted support from the components for the first-aid kits directly. Thanks to this, were able to form about 500 first-aid kits, and are already handing them over to units defending the borders of Sumy Oblast.
In particular, with the funds raised, the Fund purchased: 1,000 nasopharyngeal tubes, 800 tactical scissors, 700 rescue blankets, 563 dressing bandages, 300 tourniquets, 300 hemostatic bandages, and also sewed 500 kits for first-aid kits.
Concerned Ukrainians also provided: 400 occlusion stickers, 300 tourniquets, 900 plasters, 500 markers.
Thus, having collected only 26% of the funds from the set goal, the Fund managed to form 500 first-aid kits, which is half of the set goal. So the collection continues on an ongoing basis, and the organization looks for new sources for purchases, conducts training and provides our fighters with IFAK first-aid kits.
In total, as of July 6, the Fund has already collected 1,420 first-aid kits.
