National Network of Local Philanthropy Development

We are a network of charitable organizations united to promote local philanthropy and volunteerism in communities, revitalize residents and support community initiatives. Our main task is to spread the best practices of philanthropy and create new modern forms of public participation.

The mission of our organization is the development of social capital and the culture of philanthropy for the sustainable development of communities in Ukraine.

ANASTASIA SIPHERS (Ukraine-USA)

Public figure, expert in the field of education, gender equality, regional and local self-government. President of the NGO "European Assembly of Women Deputies", founder of the national competition "Best Women's Initiatives of Ukraine". Rotary Club Officer Kyiv International. Current USAID Women in Power Project Expert. Fellow and graduate of Harvard University Summer School (USA). A graduate of the Aspen Institute, Good Governance 2019-2020. Winner of the rating "100 successful Ukrainians" in 2020. She was awarded by the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for "Merits to the Ukrainian people". In 2014, she administered the largest charity event in the history of Ukraine to help the families of those killed on the Maidan. Funds of UAH 56 million raised under the program were donated to 104 families of the victims.

MARKUS BRAND (Austria-Sweden)

Expert in international law and development, who worked for five years as the head of the UNDP program on democratic governance in Ukraine (2015-2020). In this position, he has worked with many government agencies, civil society and private sector partners throughout Ukraine, and has been a supporter of the Sustainable Development Goals on Ukraine's reform agenda. He currently works at International IDEA in Stockholm. He has previous experience in many countries in Europe and Asia and holds a PhD from the University of Vienna.

GENNADIY NADOLENKO (Ukraine)

Ukrainian diplomat, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine. Director of the Diplomatic Academy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine. For 10 years he was the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to the State of Israel.
