During the war, we have once again seen that networks, associations, and unions are an effective mechanism for improving the efficiency of each partner.
But for this partnership to really work, it is important to maintain interaction within the network, to stimulate cooperation
Using the example of our umbrella organization, we would like to emphasize 5 important consequences of quality partnerships within the sector.
1. Working for results
Organizations that are part of the same network do not compete with each other, but work hard in the regions to solve common problems.
2. Learning and experience sharing
Exchange of experience is an important part of the development process of organizations, and its relevance has only increased during the war.
Networking provides opportunities to share knowledge, practical cases, electronic tools, statistical information, etc.
3. Trust
Networking is not just about involving each organization in joint activities. It is also about checking organizations, teams, and their results. Mutual monitoring helps to build trust and thus increases the chances of local organizations to find donor support.
4. Quality service
The umbrella organization's team assumes a representative function in international communications and cherishes the interests of the network members. As a Network, we go through several stages of donor screening, fill out requalification documents, and participate in months-long negotiations.
This allows us to simplify our members' access to international resources, raise donors' awareness of community foundations' activities, and increase their effectiveness.
5. Scaling up
Some local projects grow into national, network projects. This happens when several communities have common needs for training, technical support, strengthening healthcare facilities, etc.
